PS3 Firmware Update Version 3.40 adds PlayStation Plus



Sony released a new firmware update Version 3.40 for the PS3 today. The update brings PlayStation Plus to your PS3. PlayStation Plus is the $50 annual service that will bring the PS3 more network content. The update is free and is live as you read this.
